Welcome to Talkhoops.net.
We're a blog about the NBA that often gets distracted from truly discussing the NBA. You probably know us best as the home of the award-winning NBA podcast, The Weekly Fix. It has become a staple of a dozen(s?) of people on a semi-weekly basis when they have to go for a run or get bored at work for a 20 to 30-minute window of time. Perhaps you would like to listen. Just don't be disturbed by the inappropriate language, tangents or general flavor of the podcast.
You can also more of my writing for CowbellKingdom.com (where I cover the Sacramento Kings) and HardwoodParoxysm.com (where I cover more NBA), which both are a part of the TrueHoop network.
Have topics or questions you want answered on the podcast? Have criticisms or happy thoughts to send our way? Emails us zharper[at]talkhoops[dot]net.
Thanks for reading and Supporting the Habit.

Hope you are well.
I work for a PR agency and one of my clients, POWERADE, has got a couple of cool things happening around the upcoming McDonald's All-American HS Basketball game that I thought you and your audience may be interested in.
Specifically, it revolves around that event's Jam Fest (slam dunk contest) and also looking for hoops' fans to chime in and vote on the decade's best slam dunks. POWERADE athlete Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets is participating as well. Below offers the details. Love to make your audience aware of it, if possible.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Matt
Hornets’ Chris Paul Demands to See Your ‘Jam’
If you can throw down a dunk with plenty of creativity, New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul wants you to serve as a celebrity judge for the POWERADE Jam Fest, a skills competition for the country’s top high school basketball players competing in the McDonald’s All-American Game, on March 29. Through March 11, participants age 13 and older can upload a brief video of your most innovative dunks – props, costumes and lowered rims are welcomed – at www.poweradedunk.com.
The winner will earn a role as a courtside Jam Fest judge for the competition in Columbus, Ohio. Paul will be among the experts helping to determine the winner.
In addition, the brand is also busting out archive footage of past Jam Fests and letting fans vote on the event’s best dunks from the past decade at www.poweradedunk.com.
Nominees include nasty throwdowns from past winners like Lebron James (2003) Carmelo Anthony (2002), Blake Griffin (200
