Calling Them Out: NBA's Worst Contracts
At the turn of the millennium loyal NBA fans began witnessing an embarrassing streak of absolute lunacy which is still on-going. General managers throughout the league were rolling over for agents who must have been so terribly annoying that GMs passed out Boeing’s full of George Washingtons just to have them go away for another five to seven years. Needless to say, the agents’ mediocre clients could not have more thrilled.

October 31st is the deadline for offering players from the 2004 draft contract extensions. Dwight Howard is the only player to receive one so far and it was a big one. Nobody else is deserving of one so large but it doesn’t mean paranoid, desperate general managers won’t throw the money at these guys.
