"What are they going to say now?" - Kevin Garnett, NBA Champion

The Boston Celtics are the 2008 NBA Champions. After going through 5 hard fought games by both themselves and the Lakers, the Celtics rolled in a NBA Finals record 39-point title clinching win. Once again, it was a complete team effort for a team that prided itself on the word, "ubuntu." Paul Pierce was named Finals MVP, but for Talkhoops.net editor, Zach Harper, this was all about Kevin Garnett validating his career. After joining Kevin Garnett in some post-game, celebratory tears, Zach Harper recaps what this means for his fellow Timberwolves and Kevin Garnett fans. Click the Series Page below for the recap.

Most NBA Finals series over the past 9 seasons have been dominated by Western Conference powers. It has been so bad that usually the NBA Finals are considered to have happened during the Western Conference Finals. This season should be much different. Like the years when the Pistons won the title (2004) and the Heat surprised everybody (2006), the Eastern Conference has legitimate contenders for the NBA title.
Cory Elfrink breaks down the three teams that will battle for the Larry O'Brien trophy.
