Wrong Maturation Process

The Dallas Mavericks were on top of the world two years ago when they were 5 quarters away from the first NBA Championship in franchise history. Then Dwyane Wade happened. Last year, the Mavericks had one of the best regular seasons in NBA history wiht 67 wins. Then the Golden State Warriors happened. Each time they've been poised to take over the NBA, they've had something happen to stunt their growth. The maturation process is heading in the wrong direction.
